HELLO I am getting ready to buy a 1985 Buick Skylark and was wondering if that is a good choice? - I am getting ready to buy a 1985 Buick Skylark that has a 2.8 liter V6 for $300 that was owned buy a 86 year old elderly person. I was wondering if this would be a good choice because I want to tag it as historic here where I live at in Maryland.

how do i stop my buick skylark from from problems without buying parts? - my skylark ignition switch makes my car security light blinks and my car want starts is it a way to cut rewire or take out the security wires in the switch so i wouldnt have to go buy a ignition switch and get it coded please some body help me hack a problem

Where can I buy a windshield for a 1968 buick skylark? - I have searched everywhere, google, ebay, other auction sites, ton of car sites... I cannot find a windshield for a 1968 buick skylark 4 door. Anyone able to help? Send me a link if you find it! THANKS! Thanks for that, but I'm really trying to find a "new" one, if you know what I mean. My daughter just bought a 1994 Buick Skylark and when the car is first turned on there is this "rattle" noise.? - My friend says it is the lifters but this sound goes away after the car has warmed up. He drove the car for her after she bought it and the check engine light came on at about 60 miles. When it was turned off and then back on the engine light was off. The reason she did not know about the noise is because the crooked salesman had the car all warmed up when she got to the lot. Anyway, does anyone have any idea what this might be?

I recently just bought a used 1997 Buick Skylark. Three times the car has self-accelerated. Any ideas? - After my car self-accelerates there is a faint oil smell (it has happened three times within a month). The car has been sitting for a year and a half. Before I purchased the car, a full tune up was done. The front brake pads, air filter, muffler bracket were replaced and there was an oil change. Within two weeks of owning the car I experienced some problems. As I was getting ready to park, I slowed down using my brakes, as I stepped on the brakes, my car just kept going, so I had to slam on them slightly. I noticed a faint oil smell directly afterwards. The same thing happened again about two weeks later. Today, as I was leaving a parking lot, my car self-accelerated and this time I did not use my brakes beforehand. Now my breaks squeak. These incidents seem to occur when I am going below 10mph. The "check engine," the brake light, ETS and oil check light do not come on; no lights come on. Any ideas?
