is it worth buying a BMW 3 series or a Audi S5? - I have no idea what to get. The Audi looks amazing especially the interoir , but the specs kinda suck, the 3 series looks really ugly to me, but has better specs. and which one would be cheaper to maintain?

Would it be feasable to buy a BMW 3 series at my age? - I'm 17 and have just passed my test, I love the BMW 3 series and would love to buy one. I can afford one, for instance a 1996 model with just over 100,000 miles on the clock is around £800. It's just the insurance that's worrying me, would I be looking at extortionate ammounts?
