What are the cons of buying an E34 BMW towards buying an E36? - Im looking for my first car and i definitly want to buy a BMW. The only problem i have is that i do not know which one i want. I can find tons of e34s with 140000 plus miles but the e36s are very hard to find with under 140000 miles. Ive been watching videos from auto cross and street racing for both and they seem to be similar, is there any con of getting the bigger sedan than the coupe thanks

What are the disadvantages of buying a BMW? - I've found a GREAT deal for used 98' BMW 528i - the car is in excellent condition (I've had my mechanic check out, we've taken it for a test drive and all that). I can afford to buy the car in full but what are some of the SEEN and UNFORESEEN disadvantages/COSTS owning a used BMW like this? ANOTHER THING - it has 164,000 MILES on it??? What's your opinion?

I'm thinking about buying a BMW Service Manual for our 1999 318ti, is it difficult to follow? - My husband and I are pretty handy with cars (i.e. we can perform oil changes easily). Buying a BMW for 3k next year (when i am a sr in high skool)? - Would buying a 3k BMW next year (Sr year in high skool) be a good idea financially or should i just wait till I am out of college? Thanks again to those who answered my other question. I am looking into buying a 1987 or so BMW 325 for 3k for next (Sr year). As for mileage obviously the older cars have more so I would have to say around 100,000 or so miles.
