What do I look for when buying a used Audi? - Im looking into buying a used car down the street from me. It's a used 1997 Audi A4 Quattro AWD It has 123,000 miles on it, but it looks really good. The gentlemen said that he had replaced the -front control arm -timing belt - and wheel bearings all around 90,000 miles. I really don't know that much about that kind of stuff. I don't know what is commonly problematic with this type of car, so any insight would be helpful.

I am thinking about buying a 2010 Audi A3 TDI. Should I be worried about Audi reliability issues? - I really like the A3 TDI. Great mileage in a sporty body. A little expensive, but whatever. My big concern is everyone says I shouldn't get an Audi because they have reliability problems. I get the sense maybe that is more the case with older Audis, and they are better now, but it is hard to tell. Reliability ratings online seem to vary really widely. Should I be worried? The owner of the A8 assured me that the car has been very well taken care of, and all milage on the car is highway milage. He is selling at US15,000.
